What is ProgrammerV3?
An independent diagnostic and repair guidance tool. Compatibility with the two-battery S04 describes its intended scope and does not imply manufacturer affiliation or approval.
To connect to the vehicle you need a compatible IXXAT USB–CAN adapter, its VCI V4 drivers and the appropriate S04 diagnostic cable. A generic OBD reader does not replace the IXXAT adapter.
The download includes the software. The adapter and cable are not included. Check compatibility of the adapter model before use.
Workshop responsibilities
The professional must obtain the owner’s authorisation, check vehicle identity and compatibility, follow applicable procedures and verify the result of each intervention.
Configuration changes may affect vehicle operation and compliance. The workshop must check type-approval, road-use and safety obligations before applying them.
Preparation before writing
Keep a suitable backup, ensure stable power and do not interrupt programming. ECU recovery requires prior checks and cannot guarantee recovery of every unit.
Provider responsibilities
Workshop acceptance does not remove the software provider’s legal responsibilities or rights that cannot be waived.
